Job description

Who YOU are and what YOU can become

ST Engineering MRAS is looking for a Materials & Process (M&P) Manager to lead a diverse team of engineers who support both production composite/materials engineering and R&D / demonstrator development efforts. In this role, you will guide a team responsible for sustaining materials and process engineering across active production programs while also enabling the research, development, and early application of nextgeneration composite materials, processes, and manufacturing technologies.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure materials and processes are robust, compliant, costeffective, and ready for use across the full product lifecycle-from initial concept through production release.

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and coach new engineers, fostering technical growth and crossfunctional collaboration.
  • Prioritize workload across production support, qualification/approval tasks, R&D projects, and demonstrator milestones.
  • Develop clear objectives and maintain accountability for team performance, ensuring on-time delivery of engineering outputs and issue resolution.

Production Support & Sustaining Engineering

  • Oversee material and process engineering support for active production, including composite materials, adhesives, coatings, and metallic processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards.
