Process Technician PWAx

Description -

Job Summary
This role is responsible for leading design activities throughout the entire process, creating various design elements like wireframes, UI layouts, prototypes, and design specifications, and leading design thinking sessions. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, and influences changes to optimize design thinking usage. The role manages deliverables, engages with administrators to refine designs, and acts as a project management administrator. The role tracks initiatives, adapts designs and strategies in response to new information and direction, and maintains a strategic vision for interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
Leads day-to-day design activities from concept through manufacturing and/or production, and pays detailed attention to design execution from concept through delivery.
Creates wireframes, user interface (UI) layouts, mockups, prototypes, visual artifacts, icons, and design specifications that are ready to be implemented by the rest of the team.
Leads design thinking sessions in collaboration with designers, program managers, and engineers, and applies design thinking methods to address requirements.
Influences and drives changes across disciplines to optimize the usage of design thinking within the portfolio.
Drives and manages the development of deliverables through to publishing and presentation against engagement deadlines.
Leads conversations with administrators from large organizations to refine designs and incorporate best practices within the organization.
Acts as the project management administrator to ensure all required project information and documentation are provided clearly on drawing sets.
Successfully tracks record leading initiatives and interdisciplinary teams with a design and strategic vision.
Reacts quickly to new information, opinions, and direction to strategically pivot the designs and strategies when necessary.
Provides guidance, mentoring, and training to individual contributors in lower-level roles, and contributes to their growth in the organization.
Education & Experience Recommended
High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 8+ years of related work experience, preferably in product design, or a related field.
