Global Process Engineer, Principal
Job Description:
The Role:
Entegris is seeking an experienced engineering leader to drive Global Process Engineering for our Fluid Management business, advancing manufacturing excellence, process standardization, and cross-site collaboration across the U.S. and Asia to support innovative semiconductor solutions.
What You'll Do:
  • Develop strong technical knowledge of Fluid Management manufacturing processes which will serve as a foundation for all other responsibilities spanning multiple sites.
  • Build and sustain technical project roadmap to ensure improvement projects include an element of global implementation and standardization. This roadmap should be prioritized based on operational efficiency alignment from Operations leadership and strategic or customer-based input from the Business Unit leadership.
  • Lead projects focused on improving Yield, Cycle Time, Cost, or Defects increase operational efficiency or customer experience. These projects may span manufacturing sites or production processes.
  • Develop culture of leveraging data across the internal supply chain and multiple manufacturing sites to feed product line level continuous improvement cycles.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the global organization to enable effective leadership and collaboration.
  • Lead process excursion investigations using a combination of influential leadership and structured problem-solving skills to drive to root cause and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and project management support to process engineering teams on results focused projects coordinated globally.
  • Mentor other team members on good engineering practices and technical concepts related to the manufacturing processes, root cause analysis tools, process control, etc.
  • Communicate effectively across the organization and to all levels (BU, Operations, NPI, NPD, R&D, etc.) to drive results. Contribute to the direction of the department in partnership with other members of the team and leadership.
  • Contribute to a "Safety First" culture by engaging with Entegris EHS proactive safety activities.

What We Seek
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar
  • 10+ years of experience in operations/manufacturing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of HVM process equipment
  • Experience with injection molding processes is a plus
  • Proven track record of engineering leadership to driving cross-functional project execution and problem solving while maintaining positive/collaborative working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence projects improving Yield, Cost, Defects, and overall manufacturing performance, particularly within injection molding or plastics processing environments
  • Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem solving using tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA, etc. Six sigma certification and track record of application of tools a plus.
  • Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) as well as statistical data analysis for application to Qualification and Validation. Experience with Minitab a plus.
  • Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as necessary
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of Global Process Engineering team charter (up to 25%)

  • Projects that deliver measurable improvements in Yield, Cycle Time, Cost, and Defect reduction across manufacturing sites and production processes, directly increasing operational efficiency and customer experience.

  • Leverage technical expertise guide structured problem-solving methodologies to drive root cause to high impact issues, with persistence to implement effective corrective and preventative actions in a timely manner.
