Keysight Technologies, the world's premier measurement company, has an opening for a Semiconductor Process Engineering Technician at the High Frequency Technology Center (HFTC) in Santa Rosa, California. Live in beautiful Sonoma County amongst vineyards, redwood forests, rivers, lakes and coastline while working on state-of-the-art ICs and devices. HFTC invents and delivers world-leading compound semiconductor and integration technology in our fabrication facilities located in Santa Rosa. Our team enables Keysight product leadership through semiconductor innovation for differentiated performance.
Responsibilities
The focus of this position will be in the lithography area and related processes. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist engineers in reviewing and troubleshooting stuck lots, communicating lot status and issues
  • Oversee Litho work selection and facilitate the movement of any lots with issues or abnormal delays
  • Lead recipe setup lithography systems and related metrology tools
  • Qualification of new batches of photoresist
  • Adjustment of process and equipment parameters in response to litho weekly tests
  • Perform data entry, data analysis, and basic SPC (Statistical Process Control) tasks
  • Assist with processing test wafers and process development activities
  • Perform visual inspection on IC wafers, record observations and provide detailed feedback to engineers
  • Assist with training on litho and related metrology equipment

Qualifications
  • Minimum 6+ years of Engineering Technician experience in Lithography, metrology, and other related semiconductor processes
  • AAS degree or B.S. degree preferred. (Minimum high school graduate with applicable semiconductor industry experience and strong aptitude in science and math)
  • Hands-on experience with advanced semiconductor device fabrication is required
  • Specific skills in III-V semiconductor processing is preferred
  • Experience with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE) are required
  • Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills for successful inter and intra-group interactions
  • Candidates must be willing and demonstrate initiative to learn and acquire new skills
  • Available to work some combination of weekend and/or swing shift for coverage. Schedule has flexibility for the right candidate.

The role will be based at our HQ in Santa Rosa, CA. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Santa Rosa area.
