Role Scope

The Plant Process Engineer supports stable, high-quality plastics injection molding by refining processing windows, reducing scrap, and improving cycle efficiency at our Calhoun, GA plant (onsite, full time; Monday–Friday 7am–4pm, hours may vary).
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnose process variation using statistical analysis and structured problem-solving
- Optimize molding parameters and document validated process standards
- Partner with tooling and production to align mold design intent with robust processing
- Lead trials, analyze results, and drive corrective actions through implementation
Required qualifications/skills:
- 3–5 years plastics injection molding experience
- 3–5 years hands-on processing experience
- Extensive knowledge of mold design
- Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude; statistical analysis capability
