Team members collaborate closely with customers and internal engineering experts to deliver tailored technical solutions and high-quality equipment.

Role Description The Sales Process Engineer/Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Conroe, TX. This role is responsible for designing and optimizing process systems related to mass transfer and separations equipment, including trays, packing, and mist eliminators. Day-to-day tasks include developing process designs and specifications, performing calculations and simulations, preparing technical documentation, and supporting equipment selection and sizing and working with the customer to secure the sale. The Process Engineer works with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot operating issues, improve process performance, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards. Interaction with clients, support for proposals, and occasional field or plant visits to review installations and performance may also be required. Process Engineer will provide the CAD designers the mechanical design information and sketches needed to create an approval drawing. Will assist project managing their design throughout the fabrication process.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Process Engineering and Chemical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to mass transfer and separations systems.
  • Past Experience in Process and Current Mechanical Design, including sizing and specification of trays and tray hardware, packing, and separation equipment.
  • Knowledge of Process Control concepts and practices for stable and efficient operation of industrial processes.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret data, perform calculations, and troubleshoot complex process problems, and work independently.
  • Relevant bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
  • Proficiency with process simulation or engineering software (e.g., Aspen, HYSYS, or similar) is beneficial.
  • Ability to read and develop PFDs, P&IDs, and technical drawings, and to create clear technical reports and documentation.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with operations, sales, and customers on-site.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in an industrial environment.
