Job description

Seeking a Process Engineer in Rockwall, Texas for a global provider of industrial lubrication solutions.
The Process Engineer analyzes manufacturing processes and process data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality, and leads initiatives to optimize processes and workflows. This role partners with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams to implement best practices, drives capital projects, and ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current manufacturing processes and process data to identify trends and opportunities to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and workflows, driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and industry standards
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure processes meet or exceed product quality specifications, and develop and implement quality control procedures
  • Identify, develop, and lead capital projects based on business needs and improvement opportunities, and manage associated contractors
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, and identify and address potential safety hazards
  • Conduct cost analyses related to process changes and identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining or improving product quality
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, changes, and improvements
  • Provide training and support to production teams on new processes and changes
  • Collaborate with operators and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues
  • Evaluate and implement initiatives to minimize the environmental impact of manufacturing processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Project management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with process simulation tools and statistical analysis methods
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of experience as a Process Engineer within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • 2D AutoCAD experience
