You will play a key technical role in shaping our internal cloud platform, driving strategic automation, and modernizing our continuous delivery practices to scale Incedo's cloud-based services.

You will help the TechOps organization define clear, measurable maturity goals and execute strategic initiatives that enhance developer productivity while advancing DevSecOps capabilities across the organization.

What Is Exciting About This Opportunity

Lead the implementation of modern tools and strategies to transform Incedo's internal cloud infrastructure platform. This includes hands-on work with advanced Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) technologies across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.

You will play a key role in enabling AI-driven enterprise solutions by building scalable, secure, and highly automated cloud platforms and engineering processes.

This role provides the opportunity to solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, automation, observability, cost optimization, and platform engineering at enterprise scale.

Position Overview

As a Platform Engineer (Junior / Senior / Lead), you will contribute to designing, implementing, and supporting cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps practices, and platform engineering solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve platform reliability, developer experience, automation, security, and operational excellence while ensuring highly available cloud services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Crossplane, Helm Charts, or CloudFormation to provision and manage cloud resources. (Must Have)
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Security, and Infrastructure teams to define platform requirements, priorities, and architecture.
  • Partner with Development, Operations, and QA teams to streamline software delivery and improve release quality.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure, DevOps platforms, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure high availability, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Design and implement zero-downtime deployment and maintenance strategies for Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend modern DevOps tools and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering excellence across teams.
  • Enable engineering teams by providing reusable platform services, automation, and operational best practices.
  • Collaborate with Security teams to integrate security controls and DevSecOps best practices into infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
  • Document technical designs, architecture, operational procedures, and platform standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, automation, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Eliminate operational toil by automating manual processes using modern tooling, AI-powered solutions, and agentic workflows.
  • Participate in a 12-hour on-call rotation to support production systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3โ€“10 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
  • Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, Helm Charts, or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Go, Python, or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven experience implementing DevOps best practices and driving automation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or Datadog.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, IAM, compliance frameworks, and DevSecOps principles.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience supporting cloud-native or SaaS platforms at scale.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools, automation frameworks, and agentic workflows is a plus.
