In this role, you will own CMP processes across development and highvolume manufacturing. You'll partner with crossfunctional teams and suppliers to improve yield, reduce cost, and ensure process stability and portability. Your work will play a key role in product performance, reliability, and speed to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, start up, optimize, and sustain CMP processes for yield, cost, and reliability improvements
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, SPC, and FDC methods
  • Drive yield improvement, cost reduction, and risk management initiatives
  • Qualify and deploy new process baselines, tools, and materials for NPI and site transfers
  • Evaluate equipment, materials, and supplier performance to improve process outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field OR Master's degree OR PhD in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of CMP industry experience
  • Experience with dielectric and metal CMP, including slurrypad interactions
  • Handson experience with CMP tools and endpoint systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of semiconductor device physics and DRAM function
  • Deep knowledge of CMP mechanisms, failure modes, and chemical interactions
  • Experience with SPC, FDC, RMS, or APC systems
  • Familiarity with Leveraging AIassisted tools for operational efficiency or coding
