    • Address regulatory feedback.

Work Environment:

  • This is a full-time, mission-critical, onsite position (5 days per week) located at the Haworth Water Treatment Plant.
  • The role requires active participation in an office/field setting at the Haworth WTP, with periodic travel for site visits to other Veolia locations.
Qualifications

Education/Experience/Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required; a Master’s Degree is a significant advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in process engineering and design for complex water/wastewater treatment facilities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Proven expertise in selecting, sizing, and commissioning key process equipment using commercial design and simulation tools.
  • Extensive, hands-on knowledge of advanced water treatment technologies (including GAC, BAC/AIX).
  • Exceptional ability to provide high-level technical support for complex operational and design challenges.
  • Expert-level understanding of engineering principles, industry standards, and federal/state regulatory requirements for water quality and safety.
  • Proficiency in engineering software including AutoCAD, ESRI/GIS, and Microsoft/Google Workspace equivalents.
  • Demonstrated organizational, cross-functional communication, and interpersonal skills essential for interfacing with diverse internal and external stakeholders (consultants, contractors, regulators).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritize tasks, and adapt quickly to evolving project needs.

Required Certification/Licenses/Training:
