Job description

Job Overview:
Winter 2027 Co-op - Process Engineering
As a Winter 2027 Process Engineering Co-op at Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), gain hands-on experience with the coffee production process by working closely with a multidisciplinary team to understand manufacturing challenges and contribute to process optimization initiatives. In addition, gain valuable insight into the day-to-day responsibilities, collaboration, and professional development of a career in engineering.
This role is aligned to the Coffee Operating Unit.
Shift/Schedule:
  • The KDP 2027 Winter Co-op Program will run from January 4th - May 21st, 2027
  • Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina
  • Full-time; 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday
  • 8:00am until 5:00pm
  • Onsite

As a Winter 2027 Process Engineering Co-op you will:
  • Support process engineering projects from concept through implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges.
  • Assist with equipment validation, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement

Elements of the KDP 2027 Winter Co-op Program include:
  • Engaging and partnering on innovative projects to gain experience in a fast paced, cross functional team environment
  • Receive mentor support for your professional development
  • Participate in meet & greets and lunch & learns with KDP executives and other organization leaders
  • Receive professional development training such as networking, professional skills development and presenting
  • Complete a project from start to finish and present it and your takeaways to your team, department, and senior leaders to highlight your project work and impact on the business

Total Rewards:
  • $31/hour
  • Paid bi-weekly
  • $5,000 sign on bonus pay, paid within first 30 days of employment

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate currently enrolled in a full time academic program from an accredited college or university, majoring in Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or another related field
  • Willingness to spend a significant amount of time on the production floor and work in a manufacturing setting.
  • Interest in technical and operational aspects of food and beverage production.
  • Excitement to work with innovative technologies and equipment beyond traditional K-Cup manufacturing processes.
  • Interest in problem solving and independent work independently
