POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairs to electrical systems in manufacturing facilities. This employee will work independently and will ensure that all work complies with OSHA regulations, industry standards to include National Electrical Code and local regulations. The electrician will help tie in Manufacturing Equipment when necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Install and repair wiring, lighting, and control systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
  • Inspect electrical components and systems for safety and functionality
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and local building codes
  • Supervise apprentices and assist in training
  • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure Kelvionโ€™s Standard of Excellence, which includes quality, is incorporated into every product we produce.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to Global Code of Business Principles, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Vision and Values, Operational Framework
  • Strong knowledge of NEC and OSHA standards
  • Ability to work from ladders, scaffolds, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to read and understand electrical tools and equipment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical principles and concepts
  • Understanding of industrial electrical needs and supply availability of local network

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (required levels)

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5+ Years of experience
  • Completion of a state approved apprenticeship program
  • Valid Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License
