About Xite

Xite is a leading healthcare M&A advisory and practice brokerage firm focused on sell-side representation for high-performing dental, medical, plastic surgery, urgent care, emergency room, and related healthcare practices. With deep expertise in private equity, buyer dynamics, healthcare transactions, commercial real estate, and practice-level financial performance, Xite delivers strategic, data-driven outcomes for healthcare entrepreneurs nationwide.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an M&A Business Development Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Richardson, Texas.

M&A Business Development Associate

The M&A Business Development Associate will be an integral part of Xite's business development team, responsible for identifying, engaging, and building relationships with owners of dental, medical, and healthcare practices who may be considering a sale, partnership, or strategic transaction.

In this role, you will work closely with senior team members, financial analysts, and transaction advisors to help practice owners understand the value of their business, evaluate potential exit or partnership opportunities, and navigate the process of taking their company to market. This position offers hands-on exposure to the full M&A process, including prospecting, deal origination, valuation discussions, marketing preparation, buyer outreach, negotiations, due diligence, and transaction execution.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, relationship-driven, polished, comfortable with outbound sales activity, and interested in building a career in healthcare M&A, private equity, practice sales, and commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, contact, and build relationships with prospective dental, medical, and healthcare practice owners through cold calls, emails, texts, direct marketing, referrals, conferences, networking, and trade organizations.
  • Schedule, host, and attend prospective client meetings, including office meetings, breakfasts, dinners, golf outings, conventions, and industry events.
  • Educate prospective clients on practice valuations, market conditions, buyer demand, transaction structures, and the process of preparing a business for sale or partnership.
  • Work closely with senior advisors and financial analysts to evaluate opportunities, pitch Xite's advisory services, and prepare practices to go to market.
  • Assist with the collection and organization of financials, practice reports, leases, company assets, NDAs, buyer profiles, and other transaction-related materials.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Offering Memorandums, marketing packages, buyer lists, pitch materials, data rooms, and other client-facing materials.
  • Assist with client management, buyer outreach, deal negotiations, due diligence, and communication among sellers, buyers, attorneys, lenders, accountants, and other transaction parties.
  • Represent Xite professionally as a public-facing member of the team in healthcare, M&A, private equity, and commercial real estate settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong interest in healthcare M&A, private equity, practice sales, business development, and/or commercial real estate.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.
  • Strong sales, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to meet new people, build rapport quickly, and find common ground with business owners and professionals.
  • Comfortable aggressively pursuing sales leads through cold calling, networking, direct outreach, conferences, and referral development.
  • Professional, polished appearance and presence.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects, client conversations, marketing materials, and transaction-related documents.
  • Willingness to travel for conferences, client meetings, networking events, and business development opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

The right person for this role is entrepreneurial, competitive, persistent, and eager to learn. They should be confident speaking with business owners, comfortable initiating conversations with prospective clients, and capable of building trust with sophisticated healthcare professionals, investors, attorneys, lenders, and advisors. Experience in sales, business development, healthcare, real estate, finance, private equity, or M&A is preferred.
