Product Design Intern
About Niural
At Niural, we're not just building products; we're redefining how companies operate in a new era of the internet driven by AI. We're creating truly global solutions that empower businesses to thrive in the digital economy. If you're eager to join a relentlessly ambitious team, develop tools that will influence the flow of billions of dollars, and share in the asymmetric financial rewards of building foundational internet infrastructure, then come help us shape the future of finance.
About the job
We're looking for a Product Design Intern who thrives at the intersection of creative thinking and hands-on execution. You'll be treated as a full team member from day one-building real product experiences, collaborating deeply across functions, and helping to elevate our design craft. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of prior design experience (through internships, freelance work or academic projects) who is ready to contribute immediately and has strong potential for a full-time return offer.
Responsibilities
  • Design & Prototype: Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for sales demos, internal showcases, and product experiments.
  • Collaborate Across Functions: Work alongside product managers, engineers, and marketers to translate business goals and user needs into elegant design solutions.
  • Support Design Operations: Help organize, prioritize, and manage design tasks to ensure clear ownership and fast delivery.
  • Evolve the Design System: Contribute to maintaining and improving Niural's design systems for visual and UX consistency.
  • Participate in Research: Assist in user research, usability testing, and design reviews to gather insights and iterate quickly.
  • Learn & Grow: Work closely with senior designers for mentorship, feedback, and guidance to develop your craft and design thinking.

About you
You'll succeed in this role if you:
  • Have 1-2 years of hands-on design experience (internship, freelance, or academic projects), ideally with SaaS or digital products.
  • Are fluent in Figma (preferred) or similar design and prototyping tools (e.g., Framer, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Have experience building interactive prototypes for web or mobile applications.
  • Bring strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of UX principles and user flows.
  • Can balance detail-oriented execution with a broader understanding of business and user goals.
  • Enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and communicating ideas clearly.
  • Are self-motivated, organized, and thrive in fast-moving, high-growth environments.
  • Love feedback, iterate quickly, and always look for ways to improve both your work and the process.

What we offer
  • A competitive internship compensation package that reflects your skills and contributions.
  • Opportunities for mentorship, learning, and hands-on experience with senior designers and product leaders.
  • A collaborative and high-growth environment where your ideas are valued and implemented.
  • Access to a MacBook Pro and high-performance monitor to maximize your productivity.
  • Pathway to a full-time role based on performance and team fit.
  • H1B visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates upon conversion to a full-time role.
