Our Design team is responsible for establishing the trends, color, and style direction for our seasonal and customer-driven lines. They create apparel designs to be shared with internal teams during trend presentations, and external teams at buyer meetings. Once orders are placed, the Design team manages and oversees the sample development and production process in conjunction with cross-functional partners.

We are seeking a Design Intern to join the team. The ideal candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, eager to learn and able to execute these essential responsibilities:

  • Match colors across a variety of color libraries and samples
  • Make and construct color chips, cards and presentation boards
  • File and organize colors and fabrics
  • Prep meeting samples
  • Work on production detail sheets
  • Assist the designers on flat sketching / trend research

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate Fashion Design program
  • Must be able to commit to at least 2 full days
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Excel
  • Previous internship experience preferred
  • Positive attitude, team player, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
