Job description

Position: Process & Quality Coordinator

Employment Type: Full-time

Employment Class: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Supervisor: Production Center Manager


Job Summary

The Process & Quality Coordinator is responsible for improving packing processes and ensuring high levels of order accuracy within the Production Center. This role focuses on identifying process gaps, driving standard work, and partnering with operations teams to deliver consistent, high-quality output. The coordinator plays a key role in reducing errors, improving efficiency, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Evaluate current packing and fulfillment processes to identify inefficiencies and error risks and train team members on best practices.
  • Lead implementation of process improvements that increase accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard work procedures.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team leads to ensure processes are practical and followed consistently.
  • Work closely with Sales, Assembly, Team Production Floor Supervisor, and Shipping teams to align processes.
  • Implement corrective actions to reduce repeat issues.
  • Conduct periodic audits of packing and shipping processes.
  • Reinforce quality expectations through daily interaction and coaching.
  • Support onboarding of new employees in packing and fulfillment processes.
  • Serve as a resource for troubleshooting quality or process concerns.
  • Work closely with production, warehouse, and shipping teams to align processes.
  • Partner with leadership to prioritize improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate trends, issues, and recommendations clearly and proactively.
  • Use data to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the Production Center.


Supervisory Responsibilities

This supervisory role includes direct responsibility for Level I
picking team members and, in practice, leadership and support for all Production Center Team Members.
