What You Will Do

As a Project Manager - Control Systems, you will serve as the onsite project leader responsible for planning, executing, and closing building automation and control systems projects for assigned customers. You will own project delivery from start to finish-balancing customer satisfaction, technical excellence, and financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the execution of control systems projects, including hardware design, system programming, installation coordination, commissioning, and closeout

  • Managing overall project financials, including costs, billings, and collections

  • Maintaining strong customer relationships and acting as the primary point of contact throughout all project phases

  • Identifying and pursuing change orders while ensuring proper execution of warranty work

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget

How You Will Do It

  • Provide work direction to subcontractors, electrical installers, technicians, designers, and administrative partners as needed

  • Coordinate effectively across teams to ensure seamless project execution

  • Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and is performed with the highest ethical standards

  • Lead by example in safety, ensuring adherence to Johnson Controls safety policies and procedures

What We Look For

Required

  • Associate's degree in a technical field with 2 years of relevant field experience or 4 years of equivalent experience in the building automation industry

  • Experience programming control panels, preferably for HVAC systems

  • Proven experience managing projects

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences

  • Strong independent work ethic and problemsolving skills

  • Proficiency with computers and related tools

Preferred

  • Experience in the HVAC controls industry

  • 2+ years of project management experience

  • Knowledge of project accounting and costing principles

  • Handson experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC control systems

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $76,000 to $93,000(Salary to be determined by the education, experience,

knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market

data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan. This position includes a competitive benefits package. The
