Job description

Primoris Energy Services Corp is seeking a Coordinator II Project Support - QA/QC, in Hubbard, TX, to provide administrative and document control support for large-scale industrial construction projects. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality documentation, tracking inspections, supporting turnover package development, and ensuring project records are organized, accurate, and compliant with client and company requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience supporting QA/QC operations within a construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist QA/QC personnel with maintaining quality documentation, inspection reports, test records, and turnover packages.
  • Track, organize, and maintain project quality records to ensure compliance with client, project, and company requirements.
  • Manage document control processes, including document distribution, revisions, approvals, and filing of controlled documents.
  • Support the preparation, compilation, and submission of turnover packages and project closeout documentation.
  • Track inspections, punch list items, non-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality-related deliverables.
  • Coordinate collection and filing of material test reports (MTRs), weld documentation, inspection reports, testing results, and quality certifications.
  • Maintain QA/QC logs, databases, and reporting tools to ensure accurate project documentation and status tracking.
  • Assist project management and field supervision with quality-related reporting and documentation requests.
  • Conduct routine audits of project files to verify completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy filing systems for project documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by gathering and providing requested records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC, Project Controls, Engineering, Construction Management, and Client representatives to ensure documentation requirements are met.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive project information and records.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or related technical coursework preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in QA/QC administration, document control, project support, construction administration, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting industrial, energy, power, heavy civil, or construction projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with QA/QC processes, inspection documentation, turnover packages, and document control procedures.
  • Knowledge of material traceability, weld tracking, testing documentation, and quality record management preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience with electronic document management systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining effective collaboration with project teams.

  • Primarily site-based, working from a project field office.
