We are hiring our first dedicated Quality Control Manager to lead our Quality Control and Inspection Team, and to help us build in-house manufacturing capacity in Illinois.

Position Overview:

We're looking for a Quality Control Manager who can run the floor today while building the system for tomorrow. You'll own our end-to-end Inspection and Quality Control operation, lead our small growing Quality Control team, do inspections when needed, and set clear standards. You will ensure that the millions of products a year that we ship make our customers smile. You will have full ownership of identifying bottlenecks and overhauling processes to support your team's growth. You will lead your team with confidence as we build out on-site manufacturing to bring our next generation of industry-defining products to market.

This is a full-time, on-site position.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and expand our Product Inspection and Quality Control team, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Own daily inspection and product processing operations
  • Perform inspections as needed
  • Track and deliver against KPIs
  • Monitor customer feedback and translate insights into product and process improvements
  • Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service, Fulfillment, Inventory Planning, and Manufacturing
  • Identify and implement quality assurance systems and process improvements
  • Manage supplier relationships to enforce product quality standards
  • Complete other tasks as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to move over, under, and around shelves and other objects
  • Full use of hands and fingers to perform tasks
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends, and/or holidays

  • 2+ years experience in print quality, pre-press, or print production
  • Experience managing flexible substrates
  • Team management experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Excited to get things done, in a fast-paced environment
  • Interested in learning new skills
  • Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks to ensure efficiency
