Position Summary:

At Trend Micro, we are evolving our digital workplace by focusing on data-driven decision-making, improving employee experiences, and maximizing the use of daily tools and platforms. As part of our strategic transformation, we're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Automation Intern to assist in enhancing internal workflows and IT processes.
This internship is a great opportunity to learn hands-on automation practices and explore how technology enables efficiency across a global organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and documenting repetitive tasks that can be streamlined using automation.

  • Support the design and development of simple workflows using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or Excel macros.

  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with IT and business units to understand automation requirements.

  • Help test, validate, and document new automation features and workflows.

  • Create internal documentation, presentations, and reports related to process improvement.

  • Learn how enterprise applications are integrated and automated to reduce manual workload.

  • Gain exposure to cybersecurity and compliance considerations in IT automation.

Qualifications:

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Power Automate or scripting is a plus.
