Job description

About the position:

We are looking for an AI & Automation Operations Summer Intern to help drive efficiency and scale within our Global Operations function. This summer internship is designed for a process-oriented, forward-thinking individual eager to leverage low-code AI tools to eliminate manual operational friction. You will collaborate directly with cross-functional teams to audit manual workflows, build automated solutions, and ensure successful internal adoption. No prior AI knowledge is required-just strong logical thinking, curiosity, and a passion for technology-enabled operations.

What you can expect to do:

  • Workflow Automation & Prototyping: Map 3-4 high-volume manual operational processes and build end-to-end automated workflows using N8N and other AI capabilities (e.g. Gemini) to handle unstructured data.
  • Change Enablement & Rollout: Develop rollout strategies to transition teams smoothly to automated workflows, including designing "Parallel Run" testing phases, creating training materials, and establishing user feedback loops.
  • Agile Integration: Operate as a core member of the tea,, fully embedded in standard team rhythms including regular connects, sprint planning, and team retrospectives
  • Pipeline Development: Conduct internal surveys across operational pods to build and prioritize a comprehensive backlog of future AI automation opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Demos: Actively contribute to and present your shipped automation prototypes during regular team demo days

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Process & Logical Mindset: Strong logical reasoning, workflow mapping skills, and a keen interest in leveraging low-code platforms (e.g., N8N, Zapier, Make) and GenAI to enhance operations.
  • Agile Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a desire to operate within a structured, agile product/operations team framework.
  • Communication & Empathy: Outstanding listening skills with the ability to build rapport with internal users, translate their pain points into technical solutions, and support them through operational changes.
  • Academic Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Information Systems, Business/Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or a tech-adjacent business program, though we welcome applicants from all fields of study who possess a strong analytical mindset

The annual gross base salary range for this position is $60,000 (prorated over 12 weeks)
