Scope:

  • The Process Engineering Technician will have the opportunity to support all engineering processes in the facility, including chemical, mechanical, and photo processes. Your training will emphasize on-the-job experience while blending mentorship and theoretical training.
  • Safety is a critical component of the manufacturing environment. The Technician will be provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and will be expected to follow all safety protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete routine checks of equipment, process, and product on a regular schedule and execute corrective actions.
  • Determine acceptability of product and determine whether to proceed or change the process.
  • Determine root cause of defects.
  • Write and edit procedures.
  • Support or initiate projects to improve overall process quality.
  • Work with Suppliers/Vendors/Engineers to troubleshoot issues
  • Operate production equipment to run special engineering tasks

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and software.
  • Good computer skills including a strong understanding of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Equivalent software (e.g., Google Docs) is acceptable experience, but the candidate will need to use the Microsoft versions on the job.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, including short- and long-term assignments.
  • Able to stand throughout a shift, lift 40-pounds, work within confined spaces, safely work on ladders, and perform work in a crouched or overhead posture
  • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends is required.
  • PCB Knowledge is preferred but not required
  • Technical communication is required

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
