This role requires strong attention to detail and effective communication with both colleagues and, occasionally, clients to ensure seamless operations.

Job description

Process Technician (Night Shift) – “The Fix-It Role”

Location:  Duncan, SC

Compensation: Up to $30/hr + Shift Premium + OT + Quarterly Bonus

Shift: 2/2/3 Nights (7pm - 7am)

When the line goes down, you’re the one they call.

We’re hiring Process Technicians to support a growing, high-volume manufacturing operation with new equipment coming online. This is not a sit-back-and-watch role—this is for someone who thrives in the action, diagnosing issues, fixing problems fast, and keeping production moving.

If you’ve ever been the “go-to” person on the floor when things break, this is your kind of job.

What You’ll Actually Do
  • Walk into shift, get the handoff, and hit the floor running

  • Be the “firefighter” when machines go down. Diagnose and fix fast

  • Set up and change over equipment to keep production flowing

  • Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues

  • Track downtime and help eliminate recurring problems

  • Perform preventative maintenance (TPM)

  • Work side-by-side with operators and engineering teams

Bottom line: You keep the line running. Period.

What Makes You a Fit
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (this is #1)

  • Experience with equipment setup, changeovers, or maintenance

  • Proven ability to stay calm and solve problems under pressure

  • Background in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Basic electrical knowledge (multimeter, motors, sensors, etc.)

Qualifications We Are Looking For
  • Associates Degree or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or technical support environment
  • Demonstrated experience with mechanical troubleshooting and equipment setup
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems (e.g., multimeter usage, motors, sensors)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
Why This Role Stands Out
  • Fast-growing facility with new equipment + expansion
  • Structured 6-month training program with clear progression
  • Opportunity to grow into higher-level technical roles
  • Stable company with long-term career potential
Who Thrives Here
  • The person everyone calls when something breaks
  • Someone who doesn’t panic under pressure
  • Hands-on problem solver; not just a thinker
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, real-world production environments
Ready to Apply?

If you’re the one who figures it out when no one else can, this is your role.
