Job Description Summary:

Basic Function:

Manufacturing Process Improvement & Transformation is a key contributor driving data driven operational excellence across manufacturing operations. This role partners closely with plant leadership, engineering, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams to analyze performance, customer complaints, identify process gaps, and support continuous improvement and transformation initiatives. The role brings deep manufacturing analytics expertise while influencing decisions through insight, measurement, and storytelling.

Essential Responsibilities


Manufacturing Analytics & Insights
Analyze manufacturing performance data to identify trends, losses, and improvement opportunities across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity
Develop and maintain standardized manufacturing KPIs and reporting (e.g., OEE, FPY, scrap, waste, downtime, labor productivity, capacity utilization)
Perform advanced root cause analysis to support problem solving efforts in production and operations
Process Improvement & Transformation Support
Partner with Lean, Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
Quantify baseline performance, opportunity sizing, and realized benefits from improvement projects
Support manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives by ensuring data readiness and insight generation
Translate process maps and operational workflows into measurable performance indicators
Leads root cause analysis and recommends and implements process corrective actions as necessary ensuring sustainability of those corrective actions.
Assume project manager responsibility for equipment and/or process project from definition, design and implementation through startup of plant operations.
Data Visualization & Reporting
Design and deliver intuitive dashboards and reports for plant leaders and functional stakeholders
Automate recurring reports to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability
Ensure data integrity across manufacturing data sources, including MES, ERP, maintenance, and quality systems
Cross Functional Collaboration
Act as a thought partner to operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams
Translate business and manufacturing challenges into analytical questions and solutions
Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non technical audiences
Lead/Support Validation of process and equipment as established by KORE

Management System General Responsibilities:

1. Participates in the definition of individual and team objectives / metrics that contribute to continuous improvement, focusing on the quality, occupational safety and environmental aspects.
2. Ensures responsibilities and compliance with applicable regulations and requirements established on the Occupational Health and Safety (ISO 45001), Environmental (ISO 14001), and Food and Safety (FSSC 22000) standards.
3. Assures to understand and have the skills and necessary certifications of programs and working instructions, training in quality, occupational safety and environmental regulations applicable to the job.
4. Notifies management immediately of any accident or incident which could cause a potential risk in the working area, related to environmental and occupational safety aspects or that can affect the quality and safety of the product or plant indicators.
5. Uses the Communication Center and the corrective action system and tools to register and to establish action plans for the effective solution of process deviations and to prevent the reoccurrence of non-conformances.
6. Participates in or supports all activities related to occupational safety, environmental and quality programs in order to promote the development of knowledge and skills (Corrective Actions, preventive actions, periodical training, and quality meetings, among others).
7. Knows the plant indicators and how own job responsibilities can impact them.
8. Support all initiatives that encourage improvement in all environmental, occupational safety and quality aspects of the processes and work environment to reduce human errors.
9. Each associate has the authority to perform the position functions and to make decisions including the cases of stopping the use of materials, production or the shipment of products, when the quality, product integrity, safety of self and others, property, environment, community, the health of consumers, etc. is in jeopardy.

General Aspects of the Position:

1. Generally works in a closed environment, in office conditions, with normal level of noise and controllable changes of temperature.
2. Needs to walk, bend the body, lean, and/or be seated for long periods of time.
3. Performs light physical effort with little exposure to adverse conditions.
4. Can be required to travel from 5% to 25% of time.
5. Utilizes visual and mental attention frequently (21- 50% of time).
6. Works with a personal computer and programs to prepare documents or reports and present these to others as necessary.
7. Applies communication skills to perform work and coordinate with others.
8. Utilizes advance skills of data analysis, reading, writing, speaking, analytical / scientific thinking and high level of professional judgment to resolve problems affecting work area.
9. Incumbent can be exposed to fumes, gas, dust, strong odors, and/or high temperatures. In addition, can be requested to use a respirator and/or any other personal safety equipment.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Data Analytics, Statistics, or related field
3-5+ years of experience in manufacturing analytics, operations analytics, or process improvement support
Strong proficiency in Excel;
Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Hands on experience with manufacturing data sources (MES, ERP, CMMS, quality systems)
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Experience in multi site or global manufacturing environments
Knowledge of statistical analysis, SPC, process capability, and reliability metrics
Experience supporting Industry 4.0 or digital manufacturing initiatives
