What Does a Processing Team Member Do Anyway?
  • Sort donated items and identify great finds
  • Help identify recyclable items. Even if we can't sell it, we keep it out of the landfill

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift (7:00 AM-5:30 PM, schedule may vary)

Position Summary
America's Thrift Stores is looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Processing Team. As a Processing Team Member, you'll play an important role in preparing donated merchandise for the sales floor by sorting, inspecting, pricing, and organizing items. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and working as part of a team.
Success in this role comes down to three things: reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work together. If you show up ready to work, enjoy being part of a supportive team, and take pride in doing your best every day, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
  • Receive, sort, and inspect donated merchandise.
  • Prepare, clean, and price items for the sales floor.
  • Load and unload carts safely and efficiently.
  • Package and organize products for shipping when needed.
  • Operate equipment, including balers, following all safety procedures.
  • Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work closely with your team to maintain an efficient product flow from donation to the sales floor.

  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods.
