QBO Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our office and accounting team. If you are looking for a part-time opportunity in an accounting role, this is the place to work-become a contributing and valued member of our accounting department.

Essential Duties:

Accounts Payable:

  •  Maintain various shared email inboxes to ensure invoices, statements, and other emails are handled appropriately.
  • Posts all open items in accounts payable on a daily basis.
  •  Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
  •  Reconciles vendor statements and confirms all invoices are accounted for.
  • Cross-train and be backup for AR.
  • Analyzes vendor accounts.
  •  Answers all vendor inquiries.
  • Posts fuel credits daily and reconciles to the credit card statement.
  • Assist with the vendor setup and annual 1099 process.
  • Assist in the development and innovation of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  •  Assists in monthly closings.
  •  Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.


Requirements:

  • Must have 3-5 years solid QBO AP/AR experience
  • In Office 3 days per week
  • Service Titan and/or Lightspeed experience desired but not required


Qualifications:

  •  High School diploma or GED required
  •  2 year college degree preferred but not required
  •  Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area



  • Work hours: 3 days per week/24 hours
