Job description

Saw / Tile Cutter - Core Processing
Job Duties
  • Safely operate wet diamond core saws, tile cutters, and core splitting equipment.
  • Cut drill core accurately along marked sample lines as directed by geologists.
  • Prepare, label, organize, and package core samples for shipment and storage.
  • Load, unload, move, and organize drill core using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling.
  • Maintain saws, tools, and work areas in a clean, safe, and operational condition.
  • Follow sample identification and chain-of-custody procedures.
  • Assist with core photography, measurements, data entry, and general facility tasks as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and company policies.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous saw, tile cutting, mining, construction, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a diamond saw and material-handling equipment.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Ability to wear required PPE, including respiratory protection when necessary.
