Job description

The Planning Analytics and Workforce Strategies (PAWS) team within the Rapid Rural Logistics (R2L) - Grocery Fulfillment org owns workforce planning integration and strategic support for Grocery Fulfillment Centers (GFC). The Grocery PAWS team develops and manages a Workforce Planning Product Suite that solves for the unique challenges and requirements of ultrafast businesses via customizable, operator-friendly tools and processes.
We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Process Improvement Manager with a strong delivery record and proven success to own key aspects of Grocery workforce planning/management, including managing and optimizing shift posting systems and processes. A highly analytical candidate with project management experience is an ideal fit, as this role will require cross-functional partnership with multiple operational and technical teams (Workforce Planning, Field Ops, Business Intelligence Engineers, Business Analytics, Data Engineering, Workforce Staffing, Change Enablement, Tech, Finance , HR, Legal and other teams as applicable) to lead, influence and support business critical projects and initiatives.
Due to the nature of the business, you will also be expected to interact internally with senior-level audiences to provide updates and make strategic recommendations that will achieve the long-term vision for optimal balance between associate experience and business/customer needs

Documentation of requirements, project management and cross-team coordination skills are essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and participate in cross-functional work to scope and execute complex projects across multiple organizations and stakeholders
- Gather and analyze data to identify ways to improve, centralize, standardize and automate processes
- Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
- Develop, implement, report and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects
- Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality
