Job description

Job Title: Financial Advisor (Licensed Client Service Advisor)

Are you a licensed Financial Advisor who enjoys working with clientsโ€”but is tired of chasing leads and cold prospecting?

What if your primary focus was simply doing what you do best: meeting with clients, analyzing their situation, and delivering thoughtful, high-level advice?

We are a growing, retirement-focused financial firm looking for a licensed advisor to step into an established client base and provide exceptional service, planning, and guidance to our clients.

What We Will Do For You:

  • Provide you with an existing client baseโ€”no need to build from scratch
  • Eliminate the need for cold prospecting
  • Offer a steady flow of client meetings and engagement opportunities
  • Provide a clear compensation structure that rewards both client service and growth through referrals
  • Give you the support of a full team (marketing, operations, leadership)
  • Provide systems, processes, and tools to help you succeed
  • Allow you to focus on advice, relationships, and long-term planning

Compensation:

  • $90,000 โ€“ $110,000 base salary (depending on experience and qualifications) plus commission
  • 401(k) matching

What You Will Do For Us:

  • Proactively reach out to clients and schedule meetings (phone, Zoom, in-person)
  • Conduct in-depth financial reviews to fully understand each clientโ€™s situation
  • Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities within their retirement plan
  • Deliver clear, thoughtful recommendations aligned with client goals
  • Educate clients on strategies related to retirement income, risk, and planning
  • Build strong relationships that lead to long-term trust and retention
  • Maintain accurate notes and follow-up within our CRM

Referral Expectations (Core Part of the Role):

  • Consistently ask for referrals as part of your client meetings and ongoing relationships
  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships within existing households
  • Treat referral generation as a primary responsibility, not a secondary activity
  • Contribute directly to firm growth through client introductions
  • Be compensated for successful referrals and relationship expansion
  • (We have a structured and proven referral program in place that makes generating referrals natural and easy)

What You Bring:

  • Active licensing required: Series 7 and 66, OR Series 65, OR otherwise qualified to act in a fiduciary capacity as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR)
  • Strong understanding of retirement planning and investment fundamentals
  • Confidence in leading client conversations and presenting recommendations
  • Ability to analyze financial situations and translate into actionable advice
  • A client-first mindset with a high level of professionalism
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Who This Role Is Perfect For:

  • Advisors who enjoy servicing and advising, not cold prospecting
  • Advisors who want to work with existing clients rather than build from zero
  • Advisors who are comfortable being proactive about referrals
  • Advisors who want to grow their income by deepening relationships
  • Advisors who value stability, structure, and support
