Healthcare Executive Placements, Inc. (HCEPInc) is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a contract opportunity based in Clackamas, Oregon.


Schedule: 4x10s, 7:15 AM ? 5:45 PM (may include weekends)

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks

Location: Clackamas, OR

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $79.00 ? $84.00 per hour

Summary:

HCEPInc is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join a high-performing cardiovascular team in Clackamas, Oregon. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled technologist with extensive catheterization laboratory experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with modern cardiac imaging systems and electronic documentation platforms while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Essential Functions:

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.

Prepare and maintain the cardiac catheterization laboratory before, during, and after procedures.

Operate hemodynamic monitoring and imaging equipment in accordance with departmental protocols.

Monitor patient status throughout procedures while maintaining a sterile environment.

Assist with patient positioning, equipment setup, and procedural documentation.

Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and ancillary staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical record and cardiovascular imaging systems.

Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, infection prevention protocols, and departmental policies.

Acute Care Hospital

Collaborative Cardiovascular Team

4x10-Hour Day Shifts

GE Imaging Systems

Qualifications:

Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential required.

Minimum of three (3) years of Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience required.

Experience utilizing Cupid, Epic, and GE systems preferred.

Strong knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures.

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills required.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
