A Plus 1 Academy is seeking passionate and skilled Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. Our teachers help students develop strong problem-solving skills and confidence in mathematics through personalized instruction. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong math background , who enjoy working with teenagers, and are enthusiastic about helping students succeed academically and in their college preparation journey.
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging math lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Provide personalized support to help students master concepts in pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and beyond.
- Teach critical thinking and problem-solving strategies to enhance students' mathematical reasoning.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Use various teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students, including those with special needs or English language learners.
- Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and tests, providing constructive feedback to facilitate growth.
- Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications

- Master's/Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, education, or a related field from a reputable US university(required).
