Description
We are seeking a driven Manufacturing Engineer II to support manufacturing operations by driving process improvements, leading cross functional problem solving, and implementing lean strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production performance.
Requirements
Job Responsibilities
  • Advance and support Engineering Management Systems and processes.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with design, manufacturing, and construction teams.
  • Analyze current state of processes and develop future state improvements.
  • Drive cost reduction, cycle time, improvement, and waste elimination.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure performance.
  • Create standard work, work instructions, and production line layouts.
  • Optimize workflow, manpower utilization, and equipment efficiency.
  • Lead problem solving initiatives (root cause, scheduling, flow, and optimization).
  • Develop and execute improvement plans aligned with business goals.
  • Train teams on lean manufacturing and problem-solving methodologies.

Job Skills & Qualifications
  • BS/ MS in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or related field
  • 5-10 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Experience influencing and leading cross functional teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
  • Results driven with strong communication skills and sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis (8D, A3), Statistical Process Control, and time studies.
  • Experience with cost reduction methodologies and process optimization.
  • Proficiency with tools and software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, BIM360, Power BI, Visio, Airtable, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office.
