Classroom Teacher
Job Requirements.

  • New Jersey Teacher Certification or Certificate of Eligibility in applicable specialization
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Experience developing and implementing lesson plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Experience teaching within an urban environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrated quantifiable and objective student performance gains.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team, particularly with parents and community members.
  • Self-reflective and an analytical problem solver.
  • Openness to feedback, willingness to take personal responsibility, and a desire to learn.
  • Ability to exemplify, advocate and operationalize the mission, vision, and core values of the school.
  • Ability to effectively teach within a virtual classroom setting, as needed.
