SUMMARY:

A Food Store Personnel receives incoming shipments, stocks pantries and kitchens, fills requisitions and counts products for accurate inventory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, and order pickers to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
  • Assist with order picking and inventory management using warehouse management systems.
  • Perform heavy lifting of goods and materials as required, ensuring proper handling techniques.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Support order fulfillment processes by accurately selecting items according to order specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse operations and improve productivity.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience driving a forklift, minimum 2 years experience
  • Previous experience working in cold environments a strong asset

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Our Employees Must Be Able to:

  • Work assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Work overtime when required
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Candidates will be required to go through pre-employment, criminal check and/or airport fingerprinting.
  • Must be able to read and write reports in English

ENVIROMENT:

  • Will beexposed toextreme temperature changes and noise
  • Will work in extremely cold temperatures of 30 degrees or lower forextended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment andsupplies up toseventy-five (75)pounds
  • Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours
