Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation skills, the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, and the professionalism to provide excellent client service. This role requires occasional travel to our Houston headquarters (approximately once per quarter) and offers the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic team in a firm that is expanding nationwide.
Responsibilities
  • Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation, from intake to resolution
  • Draft and review pleadings, complaints, motions, and discovery responses
  • Direct and monitor the probate process in coordination with docket managers
  • Review, analyze, and summarize medical records and case-related documentation
  • Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, explain processes, and resolve issues with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, and other law firms involved in litigation
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and hearings as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements by following and refining documented procedures
  • Provide assistance with overflow tasks and special projects as required

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active Tennessee State Bar membership required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation or probate; mass tort or probate experience a plus
  • Proven ability to handle depositions, hearings, and mediations preferred
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; PACER and Excel experience helpful
