Miami Family Law Group is seeking an experienced Florida Probate Litigation Attorney to manage sophisticated probate, trust, and estate disputes from presuit strategy through resolution, settlement, or trial.
This is a senior level role for an attorney who already understands probate litigation and wants the autonomy to manage cases independently within a well supported, organized practice. You'll work directly with clients, lead litigation strategy, conduct depositions and hearings, and collaborate with experienced attorneys and support staff, without micromanagement or unnecessary bureaucracy.

  • Manage probate, estate, and trust litigation matters from start to finish
  • Advise clients on case strategy, risk, and next steps
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and related legal documents
  • Represent clients in hearings, court proceedings, and negotiations
  • Collaborate with the probate administration team when litigation matters overlap with active estate administration
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other tools
  • Work closely with support staff to maintain organized files, meet deadlines, and move cases forward
  • Support efficient case resolution while maintaining high service standards

Requirements
Required:
  • Active Florida Bar membership in good standing
  • 5+ years of direct Florida probate litigation experience
  • Significant experience handling contested probate and trust matters, including hearings, depositions, and motion practice
  • Ability to independently manage litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Strong legal writing skills, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and related litigation documents
  • Strong client advisory skills, including advising on litigation strategy, risk, and next steps
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Preferred:
  • Experience with probate administration
  • Estate planning experience

Benefits
  • Competitive salary of 120000-200000 USD/year
  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement
  • PTO + CLE budget for continuing education
