The Role
We are on the lookout for a "Superstar" IT Support Consultants to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will provide a mix of remote and as-needed on-site support for our diverse client base.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, autonomous professional with outstanding communication skills. You aren't just a technician; you are a consultant capable of sophisticated system planning, seamless implementations, and expert-level troubleshooting.
Technical Environment & Proficiency
To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience and proficiency in the following areas:
- Cloud & Virtualization: Strong administration skills in Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Azure/Entra ID. Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
- Operating Systems: Advanced support for Windows 10/11, Windows Server (2016-2022), and familiarity with macOS environments.
- Networking: Experience configuring and troubleshooting Firewalls (e.g., SonicWall, Fortinet, or Cisco), VLANs, Managed Switches, and Wireless Access Points (WAPs).
- MSP Toolsets: Previous experience with RMM (Remote Monitoring & Management) tools and PSA (Professional Services Automation) ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Autotask, or NinjaOne).
- Security & Backup: Familiarity with endpoint protection (EDR/MDR) and backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, Datto, or Acronis).
Key Responsibilities
- Expert Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 2-3 support for complex hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Proactive Maintenance: Monitor and maintain client systems to ensure 100% uptime and security.
- Client Consultation: Listen to business needs and provide tailored technical recommendations and implementation plans.
- Flexible Field Support: Manage tickets primarily via remote tools, with the ability to travel to client sites as required for hardware installs or critical on-site resolutions.
- Project Implementation: Lead technical deployments, ensuring solutions are delivered on time and meet ITRegulators’ standards.
Experience & Education
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional IT support experience (MSP experience is a significant plus).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or relevant IT certifications
- Certifications: Current relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+/Net+, Microsoft 365, CCNA, or equivalent).
Salary:
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00 /Year + Commission & Quarterly Bonuses
