The pay range is $73,000.00 - $132,000.00
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. Working within Risk Management, your mission will be to leverage your expertise to balance proactive protection and real-time mitigation of risks. Our team, including Claims, Insurance, Finance, and Safety allows for a well-rounded approach to managing risk across all operations. We serve our organization and guests with solutions that create value, mitigate risk, influence and enable the business while ensuring compliance
As a Claims Manager, Workers Compensation, you will manage claims and related processes to deliver results that align with team goals and claims handling philosophy. You will be a subject matter expert that develops claim case management and negotiation strategies within your authority level. In this position, you will work closely with Target's TPA to develop and execute routines that ensure quality claims handling, drive positive outcomes, and reduce claims severity. This position is responsible for building strong cross functional relationships to drive the execution of the Workers Compensation claims philosophy, return to work program and other claims team initiatives across the organization.

About you:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant claims management experience
  • Workers compensation claims knowledge
  • Understanding of data, financial and actuarial reports
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Independent decision making
