Job Summary

Triumph Protection is seeking a highly trained and professional Executive Protection Specialist responsible for the safety, security, and confidentiality of designated principals, employees, and corporate assets.

This role requires a proactive, intelligence-driven approach to risk mitigation, including advance planning, threat assessment, secure transportation coordination, and real-time protective operations. The ideal candidate demonstrates discretion, situational awareness, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide close protection for assigned principals, ensuring safety during movement, travel, and on-site activities.
  • Conduct advance work, including site surveys, route planning, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain constant situational awareness and identify potential threats or vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including law enforcement and emergency services, when required.
  • Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and alarm platforms to support protective operations.
  • Perform protective intelligence gathering and report suspicious activity or emerging threats.
  • Safely escort principals, employees, and authorized visitors within and between locations
  • Implement and enforce security protocols, including access control and perimeter security.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fire alarms, and security threats.
  • Conduct regular patrols and security checks of assigned facilities and surrounding areas.
  • Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and Daily Activity Reports (DARs)
  • Utilize de-escalation techniques to manage conflicts and maintain a safe environment.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Must have two year's of executive protection experience
  • Strong foundation in Executive Protection principles and protective operations.
  • Advanced situational awareness and threat recognition skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and decisive in high stress situations.
  • Professional demeanor with a high level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to operate independently when required.
  • Proficiency with security technology and reporting tools (CCTV, access control, mobile devices).
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Willingness to travel based on operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2+ years of Executive Protection, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card required.
  • Experience with protective driving, advanced planning, or high-profile client support is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with duty gear, including Level 3 holster systems, preferred.
  • Less-lethal certifications (OC spray, baton, taser) preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and remain alert for extended periods.
  • Capability to move quickly and respond to dynamic situations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of protecting and evacuating principals if necessary.
