RN – Healthcare Center


Cross Keys Village - The Brethren Home Community (CKV) is currently seeking Registered Nurses to become a part of our team and help provide our residents with the highest quality of care. As a RN working at CKV, we will provide you with opportunities to enjoy a friendly work environment guided by Christian values.

Our current needs include:

  • Part-time Day Shift; working 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. 
  • Full-time Evening shift; working 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. 
  • Part-time Evening Shift; working 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.. Weekend and holiday rotation required.
  • Full-time Night Shift; working 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. 
  • Night Shift Weekend Option; working every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. 
    • As part of our weekend option program, this position would be scheduled for 24 hours and paid for 30 hours! 
  • PRN - Day, Evening and Night Shift; picking up shifts as needed. Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
Any hours worked on evenings, nights and weekends are eligible for a shift differential of up to $3.25 more per hour!   New Grads are Welcomed!

Your Role as an RN at CKV
 

As a RN, your scope of responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

  • Coordinating, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care to maintain the resident’s highest practicable physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
  • Assessing residents for condition changes, administering medications and completing required documentation thoroughly and accurately in an electronic care tracker.
  • Supervising and monitoring the delivery of care by CNAs according to resident care plans.
  • Monitoring dining activities to identify concerns or changes in resident’s needs.
  • Interacting with families and visitors and accompanying physicians on rounds.

Education and Experience
 

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
  • Post-licensure experience preferred but not required.
  • Must demonstrate CPR competencies.
  • Evidence of continuing education in line with community, state and federal regulations.
  • Must possess quality mindedness, critical thinking, initiative in leadership responsibilities, interpersonal sensitivity and communication skills.
