Job description

PRN (as needed) Financial Counselor for our PFS department!

This is a day shift position.

Eligible for Employee Referral Bonuses…refer a friend and earn $$$

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

  1. Informs in-house patients of their financial responsibility by making arrangements for those balances' patients are unable to pay at discharge with identification and understanding of their situation, feelings and motives.

Requirements:

  • Good credit rating

 Education:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

 Experience:

  • 1 – 3 years financial and collection experience

Skills:

  •  We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas
  • Registration Skills.
  • Ability to work with all types of people.
  • Organizational experience.
  • Verbal skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Mathematical skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Good grammar/Spelling.
  • Able to read/comprehend written instructions.
  • Able top follow verbal instructions.
  • Computer skills:

Keyboard/computer knowledge

Ten key, ability to handle cash.

Meditech registration and B/AR.

SALARY RANGE:

  • $20.00 to $28.87/hour 
  • Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.
