Primary Care APRN Or PA-C

Prime HealthCare, PC is looking for a full-time Primary Care APRN or PA-C to join our team at Enfield, CT location! We are a privately owned practice seeking a team player who is passionate about patient care.

Job roles include but are not limited to:

  • Functions independently to perform age-appropriate history and physical for complex acute, critical, and chronically ill patients
  • Performs annual wellness visits for Medicare patients
  • Performs preoperative physicals
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic and therapeutic tests relative to patient's specific needs
  • Prescribes appropriate medications
  • Administers injections
  • Performs and/or assist minor surgical procedures as qualified
  • Obtains wound and other cultures as indicated
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members by making appropriate referrals
  • Facilitates staff, patient and family decision making by providing educational tools

Requirements:

Strong communication skills

Able to use sound judgment

Bilingual (English and Spanish) skill preferred

Professional Experience/Educational Requirement:

Registered Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant in the State of CT

Healthcare experience
