About the Opportunity
Prosperity Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a leading, community-based healthcare organization in Calgary, Alberta. This is a unique opportunity to work within a clinical excellence program focused on advanced, minimally invasive spine, musculoskeletal, and pain management care.

This role goes beyond a traditional nursing position—offering exposure to innovation, research, leadership development, and multidisciplinary collaboration, while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and support care throughout the treatment journey
Assist with advanced image-guided procedures (spine, musculoskeletal, pain management)
Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
Coordinate referrals, investigations, and multidisciplinary care plans
Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Nurse Practitioner Scope (if applicable)
Conduct independent patient consultations and assessments
Order diagnostics and prescribe treatments within scope
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams

Research & Innovation (optional involvement)
Participate in clinical trials and innovative treatment programs
Support research activities including data collection and patient follow-up

Qualifications & Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN)
Active registration in good standing with CRNA
Current BLS and ACLS certification

OR

Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Active registration with CRNA
NP designation with prescriptive authority
Diagnostic imaging ordering privileges
Current BLS and ACLS certification

Additional Requirements
