Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their goals and challenges.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques, tailored to the needs of various client populations.

• Maintain precise and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring a transparent and accountable practice.

• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to patients and their families.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health principles and coping strategies, providing the necessary support for informed decision-making.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population including individuals facing terminal illnesses, their caregivers, and families. This role requires a specialized focus on emotional resilience, grief, and end-of-life issues, making it essential to provide culturally sensitive and empathetic support to clients from various backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in social work, with a strong emphasis on mental health interventions.

• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused and trauma-informed psychotherapy interventions.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• A capacity to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, valuing diverse perspectives and expertise.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with hospice patients and their families, actively addressing complex emotional needs.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and appointment scheduling.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
