Job description

About the Opportunity

The House Assistant is the heartbeat of a private luxury residence, ensuring that every day runs seamlessly for a high-profile household. This is a hands-on, relationship-driven role that requires someone who is warm, dependable, and able to anticipate needs before they arise. You will be an integral part of a close-knit team that operates with the same energy, intentionality, and standard of excellence the principal brings to everything.

The House Assistant reports to the House Manager and will travel to other properties, including locations in Idaho approximately 30% of the time. If you thrive in dynamic environments, take pride in the details, and love being part of something bigger than yourself, this role is for you.

What You Will Do

  • Support the day-to-day operations of a private luxury residence
  • Assist the House Manager with household tasks, errands, and scheduling
  • Travel to and support other private properties (approximately 30% travel, including Idaho)

  • Manage household supplies, inventories, and special requests with care and efficiency
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the home
  • Provide warm, attentive support to household members and guests at all times

Who You Are

  • Warm, grounded, and genuinely service-oriented — this is who you are, not just what you do
  • Highly organized with a strong eye for detail and a proactive mindset
  • Low ego and high reliability — you show up, follow through, and stay positive
  • Comfortable in a dynamic household with a small child and pets
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and deeply respectful of privacy
  • Flexible and adaptable — no two days look exactly the same and you love that
  • Previous experience in a private household, hospitality, or luxury service environment preferred
