The Experience
As a Senior Analyst, you will support the origination of new opportunities and influencing sales cycles through a value selling approach that takes into consideration the specific transformation needs per portfolio company. You will help bring the "Best of Salesforce" product specialists, solution engineers, account teams, and industry experts and enable account teams and ecosystem partners on how to effectively sell to private equity owned companies. You will be responsible for supporting the growth of our strategic Private Equity (PE) partnerships, bringing unique points of view, analytical rigor and a broad range of industry knowledge to drive growth. In your role, you will work directly with our senior PE relationship manager to deepen partnerships, accelerate value creation for the PE firm and scale the broader team as we continue to grow. You will be responsible for leading robust quantitative and qualitative analysis across PE firms' portfolios, developing unique points of view on value creation opportunities across the PE firm's portfolio and contributing to customer-facing engagements.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
The Senior Analyst will support the Private Equity Practice team in the following key areas of our go-to-market:
Data Analysis, Reporting and Strategic Projects
  • Support internal and external portfolio performance reviews to assess operational metrics/effectiveness on a recurring basis with leadership
  • Conduct thorough data analyses and deliver actionable insights that can be effectively communicated to senior executives of Salesforce and our clients
  • Own strategic projects that support the overall growth and success of the Private Equity Practice
  • Keep PE firms' portfolio information up to date through reporting and data analysis, processing

Market Research, Portfolio Company Due Diligence and Digital POV Research
  • Conduct market research on top Private Equity firms including fund cycle, investment approach, sector focus, digital transformation strategy and value creation approach
  • Post announcement, work with the portfolio company to rethink business and operating model opportunities and align Salesforce capabilities
  • Support Private Equity due diligence processes and help them quickly develop growth strategies for carve outs and new acquisitions

Business Development
  • Support our senior team in maintaining relationships with our strategic Private Equity Partners, helping provide a single view of Salesforce into the assigned patch of Private Equity firms
  • Act as an advocate for the partnership within the Private Equity firm and at Salesforce
  • Support the execution of the go-to-market plan for each Private Equity partner with clear success metrics
  • Leverage all the Salesforce resources needed to ensure portfolio company customer success
  • Understand the intricacies, politics, and strategies required to implement a partnership program

You're Our Person If...
  • 1-3+ years of working experience, ideally with exposure to private equity/credit, venture capital, consulting, strategy, enterprise software, AI or digital transformation
  • Experience working internationally, both with international clients and on international teams
  • Exceptional communication, strategic, influencing, and consulting skills
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in Google Sheets and Excel. Basic knowledge of Salesforce CRM Analytics and Tableau is a big plus
  • A track record of growing in complex, multi-disciplinary teams
  • A high tolerance for ambiguity; ability to focus and implement in a rapidly changing environment, take charge and make things happen
  • An independent, self-starter with strong work ethic and personal drive and character qualities that match with our company's core values and inspire others to follow and act
  • A superior ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Excellent business/professional English communication skills
