The firm invests junior capital alongside strong, entrepreneurial management teams with significant equity ownership across structured equity and subordinated debt.This is a 2-3 year, pre-MBA role for an immediate start. Analysts will get first-hand experience in all aspects of principal investing, operating within a flat, inclusive organization with direct participation in the investment process.Key Responsibilities:- Perform due diligence on new potential investments, including fundamental and financial (cash flow and returns) analysis- Prepare initial and subsequent formal investment memos for presentation to the investment committee- Build financial and operational models used to evaluate new investments- Monitor and support portfolio companies- Assist with preparing regular investor reports outlining portfolio performance- Support fundraising materials and responses to investor diligenceThe role involves primary quantitative and qualitative analysis of acquisition targets, using research tools to build views on company positioning, valuation, and industry dynamics.
