Job Summary

The Tuxedo Club seeks an experienced, enthusiastic and customer service driven Bartender to join our team!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide an excellent member and guest experience by utilizing knowledge and skill of beverage service and operation.
  • Inventory, stocking, set up lists, opening/closing out bar, creating and serving all beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and seating area.
  • Adhere to all Club uniform standards.
  • Comply with all NYS Health & Safety codes with regard to food & beverage.

Qualifications

  • 2 years' bartending experience
  • Basic knowledge of DOH regulations
  • Ability to develop inventory lists, stocking and set up lists specific to function amount
  • Advanced knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
  • Knowledge of the most common cocktails, garnishes, mixed drinks and specialty drinks
  • Team player that is energetic, professional, has a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to work varied shifts which include weekdays, evenings, weekends & holidays

Compensation & Benefits

  • Eligible for Medical/Dental/Vision and other supplemental benefits after successful completion of 60 day probation

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, use hands & fingers, reach with hands & arms, talk &/or hear
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, & depth perception
  • Employees must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs multiple times per day, & push a cart weighing up to 100lbs
  • Expect to be on their feet for up to 6 hours at at time
  • Must practice proper body mechanics & use appropriate personal protective equipment to avoid injury
