About the Role
The Associate Manager, Warehouse is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Warehouse. The Associate Manager should provide consistent and professional communications with external and internal Customers to build strong relations and develop productive Carrier relationships. This position will be a people manager, responsible for leading and coaching to achieve and exceed specific department goals.
What the Candidate Will Do
  • Assure that essential warehouse processes are executed accurately
  • Pro-actively identify and communicate issues, propose, and implement solutions for continuous improvement regarding processes, cost, service, and profitability
  • Conflict resolution and problem solving
  • Develop and distribute customer reports and internal performance management reports
  • Monitor and hold team accountable for all key job functions
  • Assure maintenance to the facility, develop, and manage external providers to maintain facility on good conditions and safe
  • Implementation and control of all safety and security conditions normed
  • Deliver cost savings / cost containment to customer and/or Uber Freight
  • Ensure appropriate use of internal high-service, fair and cost competitive services to achieve internal department goals

Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Warehousing, Imports-Exports Industry experience
  • Knowledge in Customs regulations and operations, CTPAT regulations, and Warehouse Management
  • Advanced Spanish and English communication skills
  • People management skills
  • Advanced computer skills including Google Suite
