Privacy Engineering and Solution Architecture Consultant

Plano, Texas (Hybrid)

We are seeking a hands-on Privacy Engineering expert who can help refine the concept, define the technical architecture, and build an MVP for a global connected vehicle privacy platform that empowers customers to control data sharing while meeting regional privacy requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders from business, privacy, research, and quality department to refine requirements and translate high-level requirements into a practical implementation plan.
  • Develop the target-state architecture for privacy platform, including management of consent, privacy rights, data governance, and various regional regulatory compliance capabilities.
  • Lead development of an MVP/Proof of Concept to validate technical feasibility, user experience, and compliance objectives.
  • Define scalable architecture patterns supporting mobile application, connected vehicles, customer portals, and future global deployment.
  • Provide privacy engineering expertise, industry best practices, and recommendations for build-vs-buy decisions.

Desired Experience

  • Strong background in solution architecture and MVP development of privacy management platform.
  • Knowledge of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, APPI, etc.) and privacy technology frameworks.
  • Experience with connected products, digital platforms, automotive, IoT, or customer data ecosystems is preferred.
